Learn and practice licks and tricks for improvising over a basic swing mandolin tune in G major: “Sweet Sue”.
Tim will first teach the melody, and run through the melody several times slowly to familiarize students with the song and style. Next, students will get practice playing several simple “2-5-1” licks that work over the first three chords of Sweet Sue.
The $50 fee includes access to printed materials and slow demonstration videos, which you will receive shortly after registering for the class here. The entire class will be recorded for those who would like to take the class asynchronously. Video will also be sent to all synchronous participants for future practice reference.
